Welcome to Ojas Solar Solutions. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By engaging us for a quote, survey, or installation, you agree to these terms.
1. Services We Provide
Ojas Solar Solutions designs, supplies, installs, and maintains on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid rooftop solar PV systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional customers across India. We also assist with PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy filing and DISCOM net-metering applications.
2. Quotations & Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 15 days from issue unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are based on current market rates of panels, inverters, and mounting structures. Significant commodity price movements (>5%) may trigger a revised quote.
- Final pricing is confirmed only after on-site structural and load audit.
- Quoted prices include GST unless explicitly marked "exclusive of GST".
- Subsidy amounts shown are estimates based on current PM Surya Ghar slabs; final disbursement is at government discretion.
3. Site Survey
Our free site survey includes roof measurement, shadow analysis, load study, and structural assessment. The survey report is provided for reference only and does not constitute a contract.
4. Payment Terms
Standard payment schedule (subject to customisation in contract):
- 30% on order confirmation (advance)
- 40% on material delivery to site
- 20% on system commissioning
- 10% on DISCOM net-metering approval + handover
Accepted payment modes: NEFT, RTGS, UPI, cheque, or approved EMI loan disbursement. Late payment attracts 1.5% monthly interest.
5. Installation Timeline
Typical installation timelines are 2–3 days (residential), 2–6 weeks (commercial), and 6–16 weeks (industrial / MW-scale). DISCOM net-metering approval takes an additional 2–6 weeks and is outside our direct control.
6. Warranties
- Solar panels: 25-year linear performance warranty + 10-12 year product warranty (manufacturer warranty, passed through directly).
- Inverters: 10-year manufacturer warranty (extendable to 15 years at extra cost).
- Mounting structure: 5 years against manufacturing defects.
- Workmanship (Ojas): 5 years on installation, wiring, and commissioning.
- Warranties exclude damage from force majeure, misuse, unauthorised modifications, lightning, theft, or natural disasters.
7. Subsidy Assistance
We file PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy on your behalf at no extra charge. The final subsidy amount and disbursement timeline are determined solely by MNRE and the state DISCOM. Ojas Solar Solutions is not liable for subsidy rejection, delays, or changes in scheme terms.
8. AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)
The first year of basic maintenance (1 cleaning + 1 health check) is included free. Extended AMC contracts are available at ₹2,500 – ₹12,000/year depending on system size. AMC terms are governed by a separate contract.
9. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate electricity connection details, ownership proof, and consent letters.
- Ensure unobstructed site access during installation.
- Obtain RWA / society / landlord permissions where applicable.
- Maintain roof structural integrity (tiles, waterproofing).
- Pay all invoices as per agreed schedule.
10. Cancellation & Refunds
- Orders may be cancelled within 7 days of advance payment with full refund, provided no materials have been procured.
- After 7 days or material procurement (whichever earlier), cancellation may incur a 15–25% restocking charge on the advance.
- Once installation begins, refunds are not applicable except for documented Ojas-side defects.
11. Limitation of Liability
Ojas Solar Solutions' maximum liability under any claim is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific project. We are not liable for consequential damages, loss of revenue, generation shortfalls due to weather/shading, DISCOM policy changes, or any indirect losses.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on ojassolar.in — logos, text, images, the savings calculator, case studies — is the property of Ojas Solar Solutions. Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in the jurisdiction of our registered office, and resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
14. Force Majeure
Ojas is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or any event beyond reasonable control.
